WASHINGTON – Gas prices continue to inch up. The latest 草莓传媒 Pain in the Gas survey shows the average price of a gallon of unleaded regular is up by 1 cent, to $4.12 over the past week.
Mid-grade increased by 3 cents to $4.32 a gallon. Premium is up by 3 cents to $4.44 a gallon. Diesel prices are up by 8 cents, at $4.31 a gallon.
The average for regular fuel this week is cheapest in Virginia, where regular is $4.06. That compares to $4.07 in Maryland and $4.24 in the District.
On April 14, 2011, the 草莓传媒 survey found the average for a gallon of unleaded regular to be $3.91 a gallon. Mid-grade was $4.09 a gallon, and premium, $4.16 a gallon.
