Large power outage in Northern Virginia

WASHINGTON – A large power outage struck Northern Virginia Monday night.

Dominion Power tells ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ the problem happened at a substation in Lake Ridge, which is in Prince William County, north of Dale City.

The incident happened around 8:20pm and knocked power out to about 14,000 customers.

Crews are on the way to fix the problem. Some already have power back as Dominion works to re-routes power to customers.

Dominion says Everyone should have power back by midnight.
