GAITHERSBURG, Md. – MARC and CSX trains are not running through Gaithersburg.
Trains are shut down in both directions at Oakmont Avenue in Gaithersburg after a man was struck by a MARC train.
The man’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening, according to Capt. Oscar Garcia, a Montgomery County Fire and EMS spokesperson.
It happened around 8:30 a.m.
The accident is under investigation.
