WASHINGTON – Northbound Interstate 95 has reopened following a tractor trailer blocked all lanes Thursday morning.
The truck, which did not overturn or jackknife, first started sitting across the roadway prior to the Prince William Parkway just after 6:15 a.m.
What caused the truck to block traffic is unclear, but a Fairfax County police officer tells ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ Traffic he believes the driver pulled the truck over and did not apply the brakes, causing the truck to slip backward and become stuck in a roadside ditch.
Police cleared the truck just before 7 a.m.
