WASHINGTON – At least seven people are injured and 10 others are “walking wounded” after a Metrobus accident near the Eastern Market Metro Station on Capitol Hill Friday morning, according to D.C. Fire and EMS.
The serious accident involved a bus and at least one other car on 8th Street Southeast at Pennsylvania Avenue at roughly 9:30 a.m. At least seventeen people were taken to the hospital.
All roads have reopened.
“It sounds like it’s not affecting traffic in a huge way,” says 草莓传媒 Traffic’s Tim Bracken, “but it will affect traffic on Pennsylvania Avenue as people try to access 8th Street.”
Most of the injuries are minor, but there are a few with serious injuries.
