WASHINGTON – ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½flash: Kids can visit the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½eum for free this summer.
From July 1 through Labor Day (Sept. 3), visitors age 18 and younger can get in free with a paid adult admission, senior admission or a membership.
The offer extends to as many as six kids.
Though Washington is known for its free museums, youth tickets to ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½eum are regularly $12.95. Admission for adults is $21.95. Both tickets are good for two consecutive days.
The “Summer Fun Deal,” sponsored ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½, opens Sunday with a variety of events:
- Caricature artists and face painters
- A scavenger hunt with prizes
- Storytellers in the Knight TV studio
- The ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ Hound
The ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½eum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased or at the door.
