WASHINGTON – A workout a day may keep the small paychecks away.
According to a new study authored by a Cleveland State University professor, exercising several times a week may lead to higher earnings. Vasilios D. Kosteas says his findings show engaging in regular exercise yields a 6 to 10 percent wage increase.
The author says additional studies are needed to confirm his findings. also cautions that working out doesn’t necessarily guarantee a raise, but it could lead to lower health care costs and being able to stay productive in later years.
