After an extremely difficult Friday rush hour, the new ongoing work zone which was blocking 1 turning lane onto DC 295 NB from Pennsylvania Ave./Sousa Bridge, is now on the ramp itself.
The most recent work zone configuration has the two lanes turning left from Pennsylvania Avenue moving immediately past the jersey wall into one lane as you merge onto DC 295 NB. This work, or work in this general area is projected to be in place for eight months.
