WASHINGTON – Due to inclement weather on Sunday August 25, the VDOT closures scheduled to take place this past weekend will take place on Monday August 26.
Beginning at 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, one or more lanes will be closed on I-66 at the Beltway.
Also, the ramp from the Inner Loop to I-66 west, exit 49, will be closed. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Little River Turnpike, exit 52B and follow signs to I-66 west. The Outer Loop ramp to I-66 WB will have one lane closed.
Also on the Outer Loop south of Route 7 to Route 50 Arlington Blvd, three right lanes will be closed for paving.
These closures are part of the 495 Express Lanes project.
