Car crashes into front of Camp Springs convenience store

WASHINGTON – A car drove through the front doors of a Camp Springs convienence store Saturday afternoon but fire officials say no one was hurt.

Prince George’s County Fire officials say the car crashed into the Seven Eleven, 6319 Allentown Road, just before 1 p.m. and caused “considerable” damage to the building.

The fire department planned to inspect the building to determine whether there was any structural damage, fire officials say.

The crash remains under investigation by Prince George’s County Police, according to the fire department.
