WASHINGTON – Robert Griffin III’s running has been deadly to opponents this season.
He’ll soon be doing it in newly designed shoes with an “Assassin’s Creed” theme.
RGIII is the , which are low-cut and gray with blue trim all around and a red tongue and laces. The coincide with the release of the new “Assassin’s Creed 3” video game.
It was also part of a Rock the Vote campaign to increase voter awareness, a big draw for the football star.
The game company says it chose Griffin because of his instincts on the field, and presence in the top political market.
In a statement, Griffin says it gives him a chance to encourage people to represent their country through the voting process.
