WASHINGTON – A woman was stabbed early on New Year’s Day on a Metrobus.
The number 93 bus was en route to Congress Heights around 2 a.m. when a suspect stabbed the woman in the chest. Another woman received a head injury. Both women were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene. Metro police are reviewing the security tape footage from the bus cameras to try to identify the suspect. The are also interviewing witnesses who were on the bus at the time.
