A power line is down in Virginia’s Mt. Vernon blocking the Mount Vernon Memorial Parkway near Route One. This is also causing more than 1,300 power outages.
Dominion Power says an overnight car crash knocked down three poles.Crews are working to restore power in the area but there is presently no other option but replace with new poles. The process could take up until 7p.m. Sunday evening to restore power for everyone in the Mt. Vernon area.
