The 140,0000-square-foot property is owned by Benenson Capital Partners LLC. As part of the renovation and expansion, the Safeway will utilize its popular Lifestyle format, which emphasizes the retailer’s perishable offerings with an ambience usually associated with department stores, creating an environment not often found in the retail grocery business.
