Desi Living Loft Furniture has leased 3,000 square feet in D.C. at the Foundry Lofts apartment building in The Yards development. It becomes the first nonfood retailer at The Yards.
The lease takes the last remaining retail space at the Foundry Lofts.
The store in is expected to open in June. Desi Living also has stores in Rockville and Annapolis.
Desi Living joins several restaurants opening at The Yards in the coming months, including Bluejacket Brewpub, Buzz Bakery, Willie Brew & ‘Que and Nando’s Peri-Peri, all in the Boilermaker Shops building.
Osteria Morini and Agua 301 are scheduled to open this summer in The Lumber Shed building on The Yards Park waterfront.
