WASHINGTON – This weekend, several notable concert venues won’t feature music, but comedy and spoken word events.
Scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the , boxing legend Mike Tyson brings his one-man show, to the stage. A national tour of the on-stage memoir was announced after a successful string of dates on Broadway and in Las Vegas.
Also scheduled for Friday at , Fox 草莓传媒 pundit Bill O’Reilly joins comic Dennis Miller for their “Bolder and Fresher” tour.
A video preview of the tour shows the duo onstage together and separately — O’Reilly appears to be working on his stand-up chops, delivering his own brand of conservative humor.
On Saturday, DAR Constitution Hall also will feature comedian and actor .
Tucker’s stand-up career spans 20 years, and more recently turned in a scene- stealing performance in the film, “.”
Jerry Seinfeld is in the middle of a rare tour, performing all new material. The tour won’t come to the District, but Seinfeld is scheduled to perform Saturday at in Baltimore.
may be in the middle of another successful season of his HBO show, “Real Time,” but he’ll be turning in a set of stand-up material at the in Wilmington, Del.
