UMd. sorority girl quits after profane email gets out (Video)

WASHINGTON – A University of Maryland sorority girl who sent a profane email castigating her fellow sisters is no longer part of her Greek group.

The says it has accepted the resignation of the college junior and called her “personal email” a “regrettable action.”

“And as all reasonable people can agree, this is an email that should never have been sent by its author. Period,” the group says.

The email — which you can read over at and has garnered viral attention — employed numerous f-bombs and other creatively used expletives in criticizing members of the sorority for not being adequately social with what appears to be their brother fraternity.

A sampling:

“I will f—— c— p— the next person I hear about doing something like that, and I don’t give a f— if you SOR me, I WILL F—— ASSAULT YOU.”

Check out the video below for more.

You also can see a dramatic reading of the email featuring actor Michael Shannon.
