WASHINGTON – Pepco has restored power in the Columbia Heights and Petworth areas of the District.
The outage that affected about 1,800 customers Wednesday night and early Thursday was not because of the pending storms.
Just after 4 a.m. cleared the outages.
Pepco says damage to underground infrastructure is the cause, not weather.
