WASHINGTON – Music, beer and proximity — college students aren’t looking for much when it comes to the perfect bar.
Earlier this month, food and drink website tracked down the best college bars in the country, with help from the students themselves.
One local bar made the cut, while two others in Virginia college towns also made the list of .
Coming in at No. 9, Georgetown’s The Tombs made the cut for its delicious food and “tunes on the dance floor.”
Also making the list were Top of the Stairs (No. 11) near Virginia Tech in Lynchburg, Va., and Coupe’s (No. 18) near University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
