In Tokyo, the luxury treatment costs around $250 and goes by the name “Celebrity Escargot Course,” reports . Apparently it helps out with dry skin and sunburns. It’s available in a lotion form, too.
If you think that’s gross, have you ever thought about dropping $180 for a bird poop facial in New York City? Called “The Geisha Facial,” Shizuka New York in Manhattan offers the treatment and serves about 100 men and women a month. The mix of nightingale poop and rice bran is said to soften and gently exfoliate skin. .
If you’re not into bird poop or snail goo, getting slapped in the face might be your preference. A massage clinic in San Francisco offers 15-minute treatments for $350, reports . Check out the video below.
