WASHINGTON – A group of public relations experts is attempting to civilize the nation for 24 hours by asking folks to stay snark-free for one day.
created to encourage people to take the high-road and go out of their way to be polite, kind and considerate on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
“People have been emboldened by anonymity and immediacy of online commenting,” said Toni Antonetti, director of PRCG.
“On Oct. 22, we’re asking others to commit to taking just a moment before speaking, hitting send or posting to think about the effect our words have on those who receive them.”
To promote its challenge, the group created a video to educate folks on how to be snark-free for a day.
