WASHINGTON – Voters sometimes don’t know much about the candidates before an election. You could say they’re, well, clueless.
But just how clueless?
With next month’s gubernatorial election in Virginia, a couple of radio hosts from George Mason University’s decided to see whether people knew anything about the race.
“My talk show co-host and I went out looking for anyone who knew anything about the upcoming election (Va. gubernatorial). After two hours, we didn’t have too much success,” writes John Hill in an email to ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½.
But what they discovered will make you laugh, but they say they were just trying raise awareness.
Hill says a lot of people they talked to “didn’t want to even go on camera because they were self-proclaimed uninformed students.”
