Metro kidnapping suspect turns self in, denies charges

WASHINGTON – A man wanted in an alleged kidnapping on Metro’s Green Line has turned himself in to Prince George’s County police.

reports that Timothy Williams came to the police after they released a “wanted” flyer on Twitter with his name and a surveillance photo from a Metro station.

Williams is accused of forcing a man at gunpoint to ride a train from Naylor Road in Prince George’s County to Southwest Washington on Dec. 20 while concealing a gun under a sweatshirt.

When in D.C., the victim says, he was forced to make several ATM withdrawals.

Williams says the man in the picture isn’t him.
