WASHINGTON – A new Duracell commercial shows a deaf football player’s perseverance and is going viral on the Internet.
The stars Seattle Seahawks running back Derrick Coleman, the NFL’s first legally deaf offensive player, according to . The ad has garnered more than 2.2 million views on YouTube since it was posted on Jan. 10.

Coleman, who has been legally deaf since the age of 3, was not drafted in 2012. In late 2012, the Seahawks signed Coleman to the practice squad as a rookie free agent, according to his biography on the
