Metropolitan Police Department officers say they are searching for a suspect in a homicide tonight.
A shooting occurred around 2 p.m. on 24th Street SE near Good Hope Road. An adult male was found at the scene. He had been shot and was transported to the hospital, police say. He later died.
Witnesses say they heard four or five gunshots, ABC7 reports.
