Sterling, Va. bank robber: ID wanted by FBI

WASHINGTON – The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying a male subject who robbed the PNC Bank located in the 100 block of Free Court in Sterling, Va., on Thursday, Jan. 2.

The robbery took place shortly after 9 a.m.

The subject is described has having a thin build, and was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants, red and black sneakers and a black toboggan hat.

According to the FBI, the subject entered the bank, demanded cash and then fled on foot. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the robber.
