WASHINGTON — A woman was killed Tuesday evening when she was hit by a Ride On bus at the Rockville Metro station.
that Anicia Caringal, 62, of Falls Church, Va., was walking across the entrance to the station at about 7:20 p.m. when she was hit by a bus turning left from the westbound lanes of Park Road into the station. She died at a nearby hospital.
Police say they’re continuing to investigate; the driver has not been charged. They’re asking anyone with information to call 240-773-6620 or 301-279-8000.
