Group pokes fun of D.C. region’s winter weather extremes (Video)

WASHINGTON — The D.C. region’s winter has called for shorts and flip-flops as well as hats and coats — and one group is bringing a funny approach to the teeter-totter temperatures over the last few months.

As the region digs out and anticipates highs in the 50s and 60s later in the week, video production group, released a mock news weather forecast poking fun at the differing weather that has hit the area this winter.

While the metro area hasn’t seen a “solar vortex,” “acid fog” or “turnicane,” the satire does hit close to home.
