Frederick County Deputy Sheriff Todd Atkins’ canine partner, Rango, was recently fitted with his own bullet-proof and stab-proof vest. The equipment was donated by a non-profit group called .
The group recently ran a Groupon campaign soliciting donations and raised more than $335,000 to purchase protective vests for hundreds of police dogs across the country.
