Runners detour race to thank cheering 95-year-old veteran (Video)

WASHINGTON — An inspiring charity race in California became even more touching when runners trotted off course to thank a 95-year-old veteran.

Joe Bell, a World War II veteran, came out in his full uniform and supported runners in the 8-kilometer in San Jose, Calif., Sunday.

The runners applauded Bell and many ran off the course to shake his hand and thank him for his service, according to
