WASHINGTON — David Letterman may be retiring next year, but D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray has a few ideas as to who should replace the legendary talk-show host — 10 ideas, in fact.
The mayor dropped by on Thursday night to present a top-10 list of candidates to replace Letterman when he calls it quits in 2015. Some of the names included Bao Bao, RGIII and Pharrell’s hat, and much of the presentation seemed more politician-funny than funny-funny.
But the mayor passed the test of true comedy when he got to the top spot: You knew who it would be, but it was worth a real laugh anyway.
