WASHINGTON – A Jefferson, Md., eight-year-old with a life-threatening heart condition is getting her wish for a trip to Hawaii.
Friends and supporters saw Lorelei McIntyre-Brewer and her family off for their trip at Dulles International Airport Tuesday morning, courtesy of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic.
The trip took years to plan in part so her dad Steve Brewer could get time off from work in the Army.
