Wanted Montgomery Co. fugitive likely in Italy, expert says

WASHINGTON – The wanted killer who allegedly murdered his wife, mother and three children in Bethesda, Md. decades ago is likely living in Italy, according to experts familiar with the case.

This week the FBI put William Bradford Bishop Jr. on its “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list. He has been on the run since the murders in 1976.

“In all likelihood he is in Italy,” says Jim Garret, an author who has studied the Bishop case extensively.

Garret has worked alongside Montgomery County police, providing and gathering information over the years.

In an exclusive interview, Garret tells ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ he has received credible information that Bishop is living in the southwest corner of Italy.

“The area that would suit him very well is along the coast between Naples and Sorrento,” Garret says.

“He has been sighted in other places that are close to this area.”

Bishop is fluent in numerous languages, including Italian.
