WASHINGTON – A bicyclist is in serious condition after he was hit by a car near Union Station Thursday night.
D.C. police say the man was struck near the intersection of H and 3rd streets NE about 10 p.m. The car was a dark gray sedan and left the scene.
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call police.
The rider was using a Capital Bikeshare bike at the time. There are no bike lanes where the rider was hit.
Capital Bikeshare tells ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ riders have been involved in crashes on their bikes before, but none this serious.
