WASHINGTON — United States Park Police officers are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred Saturday night.
Park Police spokesman Sgt. Leilani Woods says a vehicle struck a man just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday, and that he was trying to cross Suitland Parkway to get to the other side of Naylor Road.
The driver, and a few witnesses, stayed on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
