WASHINGTON — A passport photo recently went viral after a Chinese tourist in South Korea when his four-year-old son scribbled on his picture.
The man allegedly took to Chinese microblogging site Weibo to decry the situation: “It is so depressing. What am I supposed to do now I cannot go back to China. Solutions? Help???”
But now, some are wondering if the defaced picture is fake. , critics think the scribble looks like an adult’s handwriting on Photoshop and Microsoft Paint.
Among other critiques, observers say the “ink” isn’t smudged anywhere on the passport page.
