WASHINGTON — Four lion cubs are set to make their public debut Friday at the National Zoo’s Great Cat Exhibit.
The 3-month-old cubs will join their mother Shera, aunt Nababiep and two female half siblings that are already on display. Their debut is set for noon Friday.
The cubs passed their last month and received vaccinations. Since the cubs’ early March birth, zoo staff members have worked to make sure the cubs, other lions and father, Luke, all get along.
