WASHINGTON — The body of a 76-year-old boater has been found along Broad Creek in Talbot County.
Officials say Allen Myers went out rowing on the Eastern Shore Saturday morning and didn’t return later in the day. According to police, Myers was not wearing a life jacket.
Television WJZ-TV that Myers’ boat was found and he was not wearing a life jacket.
The state’s medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
