WASHINGTON — A company in India has taken the next step in wearable technology by inventing a “smart shoe” that can help pedestrians find their way around.

The company was formed by two engineers who worked in the United States in 2011, and the company is now based in India.
The shoes are Bluetooth enabled.
Pedestrians can plug in their destination into a mobile app and the shoes will vibrate when it’s time to make a left or right turn.
