BALTIMORE (AP) — Rep. John Delaney is scheduled to speak at a transportation summit in Baltimore.
The Greater Baltimore Committee Transportation Summit is scheduled for Thursday.
Delaney, a Maryland Democrat, is the author of the Partnership to Build America Act.
The bipartisan legislation would give states and local governments another option to finance new infrastructure projects. It would allow U.S. corporations to avoid taxes when they repatriate profits that are now overseas, if they purchase bonds that would be used to build infrastructure.
