SHENZHEN, China (AP) — Juan Monaco of Argentina moved within one victory of his 300th career win on the ATP Tour, beating Federico Delbonis 6-3, 7-5 on Monday at the Shenzhen Open.
Also, Somdev Devvarman of India beat Chinese wild-card entry Gao Xin 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 to set up a second-round match against second-seeded Andy Murray, and Simone Bolelli of Italy defeated Matthew Ebden of Australia 6-4, 6-2.
