WASHINGTON (AP) — Police are investigating a fatal shooting in northeast Washington.
D.C. police say 45-year-old Ellis Anderson was fatally shot Saturday night near the Rhode Island Avenue Metro station.
Police were called to the scene for a reported shooting shortly after 10 p.m. They found Anderson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police haven’t identified any suspects or detailed a motive in the slaying.
