ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The 45th United States Sailboat Show is opening in Annapolis.
The show is set to start Thursday at City Dock. The five-day event will include boats built by nearly every major sailboat manufacturer. Organizers say it will include the largest collection of catamarans anywhere.
This year’s show has a couple of new features. It will have a high- performance racing section and a venue dedicated to pre-owned brokerage sailboats for immediate sale.
In addition to sailboats, the show features exhibits on land. They will display the latest in navigational equipment, marine equipment, high-tech electronics, boating accessories, rigging, clothing and gear.
