WASHINGTON — Sending packages can be a serious hassle, but there is nothing worse than waiting until the last minute and then crossing your fingers to make sure your gifts get to where they are going on time.
David Coleman, U.S. Postal Service representative, tells 草莓传媒 there are two days to remember: Dec. 20 and Dec. 23. The former is the last day you can ship First Class/Priority mail to get your package on time for Christmas, Dec. 25. The latter is the last day to get Priority Mail Express packages there by Christmas.
Dec. 15 was the last day to send Standard Mail packages for delivery on time.
Common mistakes senders typically make, he said, are failing to use strong postal tape on their packages or forgetting the ZIP code.
