WASHINGTON — Some people dread it, others do it sporadically: grocery shopping. And while you probably have your store and your routine, there are ways you can save money.
Before you grab your bags and the cart, you’ll need your smartphone to save money with grocery apps. reports certain apps make checking out quicker than handing over your coupon clippings.
For example, the app promises to save you 70 percent by comparing prices across local stores and sending you notifications when your brands go on sale.
