WASHINGTON 鈥� A man who died after falling from a scaffolding in Ellicott City has been聽identified as 67-year-old John Peter Pacylowski Jr. of Columbia, Howard County police said Friday afternoon.
Pacylowski had been working behind a business聽in the 8200 block of Main Street, when he fell from the scaffolding, officials聽said. Police arrived聽at the building by 3:35 p.m., where they pronounced Pacylowski dead on the scene.
Authorities believed Pacylowski had been working on flood-related repairs before he fell, and that the incident was accidental.
NBC Washington reported that聽Pacylowski was an owner of Precious Gifts on Main Street.
