The VCU Rams fell 73-58 to the University of Central Florida in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament Friday night in Columbia, South Carolina.
Despite finishing the regular season with 12 consecutive wins, the Rams lost their opening game in the Atlantic 10 Tournament after star point guard Marcus Evans was injured. VCU has not won an NCAA Tournament game since 2016鈥檚 opening round victory over Oregon State.
