The Wizards will be selecting ninth in next month’s NBA draft.
Washington fell three slots in the draft lottery. They had a 9% chance — the sixth-best odds — to land the top spot, which goes to the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Memphis Grizzlies will pick second, the Knicks will pick third and the Lakers fourth.
The Wizards last had the top draft pick in 2010 when they selected John Wall.
