Trump fires national security adviser Bolton

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he has fired National Security Adviser John Bolton.

“I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House,” Trump said via Twitter at about noon. “I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration.”

He said he asked Bolton for his resignation and will name a new national security adviser next week.
