The Bangalore, India-based company said it had profit of 23 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 20 cents per share.
The business consulting services provider posted revenue of $5.04 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $5.02 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $3.31 billion, or 80 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $20.16 billion.
